Sawargaon, Dist. Yavatmal Mr. Pravin Deshmukh, a visionary behind the development of the lives of students in Yavatmal region. He is one of those noble men in Vidharbha region who has committed himself for the benefits of the mankind and people of Vidarbha in particular.
 
Mr. Pravin Deshmukh was former president of Nationalist Congress Party of Yavatmal District, Director of Maharashtra Marketing Federation, Mumbai, former President of Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal. He has also serves as Director of Mumbai Agricultural Product and Marketing Committee and still serves as a Chairman of A.P.M.C. Kalamb. His contribution is wellknown in social and sports field in Maharashtra.

He is a person who always works for the quality assurance. He is well known for his down to earth person and committed for providing best quality education through various educational institutions as Sanskar English Medium School, Kalamb and other institutes. In the same spirit Shri. Desh mukh has given no less attetion to the establishment of the most needed Nursing Institute. Shri. Deshmukh in 2022 has brought permission from the Govt. of Maharashtra, Maharashtra State Board of Nursing and Paramedical Education, Mumbai to start a B. Sc. Nursing in Yavatmal. Will also be brought in couple of months. It should be noted that so many Govt. and private Hospitals are being run in and around Yavatmal district without sufficient number of Trained Nurses. Many posts in the Govt. Urban region are lying vacant and the patients and being unattended due to lack of qualified nurses. Shri. Vinayakraobapu Deshmukh College of Nursing in offers B. Sc. 48 Months training course for the Girls & Boys of Yavatmal and also the students from other region to get excellent training in nursing with adequately equipped laboratories, by the guidance of excellent and trained tutors and the genuine Clinical Experience at the various Hospitals of Yavatmal.

The President and executives of the Vasant ShikshanPrasarak Mandal, Sawargaon believes that the Girls and Boys student should be able to acquire not only a successful training in the nursing profession at our college but also seek good employment in Govt. as well as private Hospital of our state.

The most noticeable feature of our nursing school is that we emphasis on all round development of our student which will enable them to seek highly prospective nursing job and take a leadership role in their respective places after the successful completion of their GNM course.
