Message from the Secretary
As a person committed to quality assurance of education in our region, I have always believed in providing the best quality education through our various institutions. In the same spirit, we have given paramount attention to the establishment of this much-needed Nursing Institute.
It should be noted that many government and private hospitals in and around Yavatmal district operate without sufficient trained nurses. Many posts are lying vacant and patients are being unattended due to lack of qualified nurses. In 2022, we secured permission from the Govt. of Maharashtra to start a B.Sc. Nursing program to directly address this critical healthcare gap.
The President and executives of the Vasant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal believe that our students should acquire not only successful training in nursing but also secure highly prospective jobs in government and private hospitals, emerging as true healthcare leaders.

Message from the Principal
Over the past years, Shree Vinayakraobapu Deshmukh College of Nursing has gained significant name in Yavatmal because of its infrastructure, full-fledged laboratories and highly competent teaching staff. The management's supportive and developmental mindset drives our institution forward every day.
We emphasize providing pedocentric education and concentrate on the holistic development of each and every student. Nursing deals with the lives of people irrespective of religion or race — it has an important aspect of service attached to it. We impart values, skills, attitudes, and knowledge regarding nursing science and motivate students to serve people with all their heart.
We also give utmost importance to practical application — posting students in various hospitals, Primary Health Centers, Mental Hospitals, and old age homes guided by Subject Matter Experts. We ensure good communication skills, English speaking, interpersonal relationships, and leadership qualities are cultivated among students. We also provide job assistance and career guidance after successful completion of their course.
